Discover the core principles of Tibetan Yoga's subtle energetic, movement, and breath practices guided by doctor of Chinese medicine James H. Bae.
Dr. Bae draws from his clinical experience in traditional Asian medicine, neuroscience, and somatic therapies around trauma healing, and extensive training in various lineages of traditional Buddhist yoga.
Guided by an overview of core principles, he provides experiential instruction in lujong, or foundational yogic exercises, and an introduction to tsalung trulkhor—more advanced methods.
The emphasis will be on establishing a deepening breath and awareness practice that can be followed up by daily practice suggestions. Participants will also be introduced to modifications for accessibility, as well as trauma-informed/trauma-sensitive principles.
