Robyn Moreno is a curanderismo practitioner, author, life coach, Latine leader, Emmy-nominated TV host, and host of the podcast: Get Rooted with Robyn Moreno. Believing that young women “can’t be what they can’t see,” she has worked tirelessly as a passionate storyteller, mentor, and thought leader to create and elevate empowering stories about Latinas and women of color via her platform and her roles as editor-in-chief and co-president of Latina Media Ventures; editor-in-chief of TheFetching.com; founding contributor for Cosmo for Latinas; and author of Border-line Personalities: A New Generation of Latinas Dish on Sex, Sass, and Cultural Shifting, an honest and irreverent anthology about life as a modern Latina that has been course-adopted in universities across the country.
Working across media platforms as a storyteller, Robyn is the author of Get Rooted: Reclaim Your Soul, Serenity, and Sisterhood Through the Healing Medicine of the Grandmothers, Practically Posh: The Smart Girl’s Guide to a Glam Life, and Suave: The Latin Male, a fashion book about Latino style icons. She was nominated for an Emmy as the host of Plum Daily Hamptons (a nationally syndicated lifestyle show,) and hosts the podcast Get Rooted with Robyn Moreno, where she interviews icons and artists about spirituality, inspiration, and redefining culture and success.
Robyn has presented at SXSW Interactive, the Sundance Film Festival, Omega Institute, BlogHer, Pennsylvania Conference for Women, Texas Conference for Women, The Animus Summit, Hispanicize, and Yale University, among others. A native Texan, she is a certified yoga teacher and life coach.
