Peia Luzzi leading a workshop

Reconnect with the songs of your ancestors and harness the natural beauty and resonance of your authentic voice with musical guide Peia Luzzi.

Listen as Peia Luzzi performs Dance in the Storm, filmed in an old castle near a holy well in Dingle, Ireland.

Each one of us is gifted with a uniquely beautiful voice and lineage of song, says teacher and multi-instrumentalist Peia Luzzi. Join her in this 5-day retreat and discover your own true voice through embodied practice, engaging natural breath, and ancient resonance techniques.

Reconnecting with the songs of our ancestors is a simple yet powerful act which connects us more deeply to the web of life, lineage, and a sense of stewardship and belonging. Using vocal healing methods based on the Indian classical sound alchemy of raga and the practice of vocal pedagogy, Peia guides you to sing with grace, power, flexibility, and ease.

During our time together, we explore:

  • Somatic and embodiment methods to unblock both the singing and speaking voice
  • Breath meditations and techniques to return to our natural breath cycle
  • Practices to cultivate both resonance and volume
  • Vocal warm-ups and tools to gently stretch the vocal range
  • Songs from the ancestral European and Celtic traditions

It is said that at its height, the Celtic culture stretched from as far south as Turkey to the north of Scotland and Ireland. If you have European blood running through your veins, there is a good chance you share an ancestral connection to the Celtic clans. This is an opportunity to dive into both the songs and the language of this ancient culture.
