Care for trauma of the body, mind, or spirit guided by Sister Đẳng Nghiêm, Brother Pháp Lưu, and Sister Thệ Nghiêm of the Plum Village tradition founded by Thich Nhat Hanh.

Sister Đẳng Nghiêm suggests you choose a place and time to be with yourself and reflect on healing.

As we ride the waves of life, Zen wisdom directs us to embrace and heal ourselves—to go forward in a positive direction.

Led by monastics in the Plum Village tradition, you are guided to set an intention for healing and take care of trauma manifested in your body, thoughts, and feelings. As you practice, you learn to begin anew, express gratitude, hurts, and regrets, and explore resolutions.

During the retreat, you experience:

  • Dharma talks
  • Mindfulness practices including sitting meditation and deep relaxation
  • Mindful walking
  • Sessions of circle sharing and group discussion
  • Concrete practices to take better care of your body and mind

On the last day, you receive the Five Mindfulness Trainings. Return home with a clear sense of direction, deeper self-love, and enhanced confidence.

Every level is welcome. All you need is an open heart and mind.
