Find your own felt experience of fundamental peace and unconditional love through a simple approach to meditation, with Henry Shukman.

Listen as Henry Shukman reveals what he sees as the primary purpose of meditation.

It is possible for each of us to find boundless love. There is a fundamental peace within us, a core of peace and love. This core loves us, loves the world, and loves our fellow beings. And we can all get in touch with that part of ourselves, that unconditional love, through the simplest practice in meditation—learning to release and let go, in a space of safety.

Original Love offers a map of four "inns" of growth along the meditation journey:

  • Mindfulness, which teaches us how to be with our thoughts and emotions, and learn self-love
  • Support and connection, which shows us how totally interdependent we are with the world around us
  • Flow, which reveals how little we need to be profoundly happy and fulfilled
  • Awakening, where we discover how we are not separate from anything, and everything is made of an unconditional love

The writer Raymond Carver once asked what he wanted from life and he said, "to feel myself beloved on the Earth." That's what this workshop seeks to offer—finding your own felt experience of being beloved in this world.
