Shannon Kring is an award-winning author, TV and film producer, and speaker who left behind her own internationally acclaimed culinary brand to live, study, and cook alongside indigenous elders, spiritual luminaries, world leaders, and other awe-inspiring individuals in more than 50 countries.

Kring is author of cookbooks, including Biró: European-Inspired Cuisine, winner of the 2006 IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Cookbook. She also wrote Sister Salty, Sister Sweet: A Memoir of Sibling Rivalry, a BookSense Notable Title.
