Richard Unger, founder and director of the International Institute of Hand Analysis, developed the LifePrints system of analyzing fingerprints and has been a foremost authority on hand analysis worldwide.

His unique system of Life Purpose Analysis is the culmination of fifty years of intensive research including the reading of over 60,000 pairs of hands. Richard has merged his own direct experience with an exhaustive study of the medical literature on fingerprints to create a specific and accurate assessment tool that has been useful to business, therapists and individuals.

In 1985 he founded the International Institute of Hand Analysis and currently serves as director. The IIHA’s interactive programs held across the globe and online include Life Purpose Support Groups, weekend intensive workshops, a year-long certification training, and both graduate and teacher training programs.

Richard presents lectures, workshops, and on radio and television worldwide and is the author of LifePrints: Deciphering Your Life Purpose from Your Fingerprints.
