Raylene Abbott is an artist, author, and meditation teacher who has taught many forms of meditation in France, Belgium, Japan, and Bali. Her art combines the paintings of female Bodhisattvas that arise out of the creativity of non-doing with her own original dance and poetry.
She is also author of six books, including Between the Visions: Seeing Through the Eyes of an American Mystic and A Mystical Journey to the Sacred Sites of France. Her book L’émergence de la Femme Divine has been published in five languages. With calligraphic painter Alok Hsu Kwang-han, she is featured as the feminine embodiment of Zen creativity in the documentary, Moving From Emptiness: The Life and Art of a Zen Dude.
Raylene Abbott has trained in Native American and Eastern spiritual practices since 1973.
