Mukti, associate teacher of Open Gate Sangha, offers private meetings, leads monthly meditations, and teaches throughout the United States and in Europe. She has been a student of Adyashanti, her husband, since he began teaching in 1996, and together they founded Open Gate Sangha. Previously, Mukti studied the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda for more than 20 years.
In her teachings, Mukti points audiences back to their natural state of wholeness or undivided consciousness and brings flavors of feminine quietude and nurturing as well as kinesthetic, visual, and precise pointers to truth. Licensed in acupuncture and certified to teach hatha yoga, Mukti has a love of the whole of experience in form, as well as the formless.
In 2006, Adyashanti gave his blessings for Mukti to formally share the Dharma with others. In 2007, he invited her to become the associate teacher of Open Gate Sangha, a role which she has warmly embraced.
Mukti has presented at the annual Wake Up Festival in Boulder, Colorado, and at the Science and Nonduality Conference in San Rafael, California. Her transformative silent retreats have been hosted at various venues.
