Lisa Jakub, RYT-500, is an author, therapeutically focused yoga teacher, and retired actor who has more than 40 film and television credits to her name, including Mrs. Doubtfire and Independence Day. At the age of 22, Lisa retired from her 18-year acting career in search of a life that felt more authentic to her. She has found a happier, more purposeful life as a writer, teacher, and advocate for mental health awareness.
Lisa is the CEO of BlueMala, a pay-what-you-can resource for mindful mental wellness support. She is also the founder and director of Mission Flexible, a nonprofit offering yoga and writing retreats to military veterans with post-traumatic stress.
