Julie Beischel

Dr. Julie Beischel is cofounder and Director of Research at the Windbridge Research Center, a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to performing rigorous, peer-reviewed scientific research and creating educational materials on the topics of dying, death, and what comes next.

Following the suicide of her mother and an evidential mediumship reading, Dr. Beischel forfeited a potentially lucrative career in the pharmaceutical industry to pursue full-time rigorous scientific research in collaboration with mediums. For more than 15 years she has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and academic anthology book chapters on mediumship and after-death communication. Her primary research interests include the accuracy and specificity of the information mediums report under controlled laboratory conditions; their unique experiences and characteristics; and the socially beneficial applications of mediumship readings.

Julie is widely considered the leader in American mediumship research. She is the author of Among Mediums: A Scientist’s Quest for Answers, Meaningful Messages: Making the Most of Your Mediumship ReadingFrom the Mouths of Mediums: Experiencing Communication, and Investigating Mediums.
