John McQuade, director of Nalanda Miksang International, is one of the founders of Miksang Contemplative Photography. He has been teaching contemplative photography for more than 25 years. A certified meditation instructor and Shambhala Training teacher, he had been a Dharma student of Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche, since 1979.
