Henri Lipmanowicz, MS, is cofounder of the Plexus Institute and cocreator of Liberating Structures.
Born in France, Lipanowicz holds masters degrees in industrial engineering, management, and chemical engineering. He spent most of his career with Merck and is the former president of the intercontinental region and Japan (which covers all areas but the United States and Western Europe), and a member of the company’s management committee.
He has lived and worked in more than seven countries and has a passion for building organizations where people can thrive beyond their wildest expectations. He can see complex issues from unexpected angles and enjoys challenging leaders to reach their full potential.
Lipmanowicz retired from Merck in 1998 and in 2000 cofounded the Plexus Institute. A passionate world traveler, he currently lives in the United States and teaches internationally.
