David Levine is the cofounder and president of the American Sustainable Business Council, a network of more than 250,000 businesses and business associations that have committed to the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit.
Levine has worked as a social entrepreneur for more than 30 years, focusing on the development of whole systems solutions for a more sustainable society through building strategic partnerships and broad stakeholder-driven initiatives.
Previously, he was the founding director of continuing education and public programs at The Graduate Center at the City University of New York.
From 1984-1997, he was founder and executive director of the Learning Alliance, an independent popular education organization.
