Alison Armstrong

Alison Armstrong, a nationally known educator and expert on understanding men, is chief executive officer and cofounder of PAX Programs Incorporated. A member of the prestigious Transformational Leadership Council, she is a sought-after speaker in the areas of gender differences, well-being, empowerment, healing, sexuality, and relationships.

She also is the designer of the widely acclaimed Queen's Code and Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women workshops, as well as other transformative gender and relationship programs designed to foster understanding and further partnership between men and women. Her 20 years of research and experience forms the basis of the Amazing Development of Men™ and InSync with the Opposite Sex CD series.

In 1995, after four years of studying men for her personal benefit, she created the Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women workshop to share her extraordinary findings with women across the nation. With her friend Joan McClain, a banking executive, she founded PAX Programs Incorporated with the mission of “altering society’s culture by transforming the way women relate to men.” PAX—the Latin word for “peace”—creates peace between the sexes by providing unique and immediately useful information to women and men.

No stranger to revolutionary initiatives, Armstrong managed strategic planning and implementation of unique multi-agency projects, including initiatives for children and the homeless.

"My personal compulsion to understand men," she says, "converged with my personal and professional commitment to children. I realized one of the best ways I can help children is by altering the way their parents relate to each other. By shifting those relationships from the adversarial context we inherited to the partnerships that are now possible, parents can create home environments in which their children flourish.”

Alison Armstrong is also the author of Making Sense of Men: A Woman's Guide to a Lifetime of Love, Care, and Attention From All Men, and Keys to the Kingdom, which covers the information she has gathered and teaches in the workshops of PAX Programs Incorporated.
