Alan Davis, MD, PhD, is an associate professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Rehabilitation and the medical director for the Quinney Rehabilitation Institute. He has studied shamanism extensively and integrates spirituality and spiritual healing into hospitals and medical centers. He also serves on the board of directors for the Society for Shamanic Practitioners.
