Relationships everywhere are in crisis due to our inability to talk without polarizing. We desperately need a reset and a skill that helps us connect beyond our differences. Join New York Times best-selling authors Dr. Harville Hendrix and Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt to learn how to move all relationships from danger to safety, making connecting possible.
In this 90-minute online workshop, Harville and Helen share the wisdom of the Safe Conversations Dialogue process and the four structured and teachable skills that create safety and connection:
- Practicing the dialogue skill
- Removing negativity
- Developing empathy by adopting a curious stance
- Adding affirmations to your daily practice
This workshop, based on their newest book of the same title, offers the basic keys to unlocking your ability to connect with others in a new and profoundly different way. Participants will be able to practice the skills with other participants through breakout rooms and apply these basic skills to all of their relationships—at home, at work, and in their community.
As more of us hone the ability to connect beyond our differences, together we can bring about a fundamental shift in society away from our current focus on the "self" and polarization towards safety and true connection. This shift includes personal freedom, universal equality, radical inclusion, and celebration of diversity—a society in which we all collaborate with each other without surrendering our differences, cocreate with each other about new solutions, and cooperate to put them into practice.
Join Teachers Studio live on Wednesday, December 4, 1:30-3:00 p.m. ET (10:30-Noon PT). For registered participants, this class will be available until February 4, 2025.
