Collaborating with individuals, organizations, and coalitions, Salem advances transformative social innovation (TSI), food systems thinking, and network development to foster thriving communities. Their transdisciplinary background spans policy, development, farming, start-ups, finance, and community organizing.

As the founder of the Hudson Valley Food Systems Coalition, Salem convenes and guides over 100 stakeholders to achieve impactful cross-sector collaboration. With extensive leadership and facilitation experience, they have been instrumental in shaping effective food systems policies and driving regional food security initiatives.
