Moun D'Simone is a spiritual mentor, meditation guide, and artist. A devoted Tibetan Buddhist practitioner known for her "big sister" warmth and real-talk style, she is known to her clients and followers as their favorite "Spiritual Godmother"—and her relatability lies in her personal story.
Moun has been immersed in the teachings of Vajrayana Buddhism, a year-long contemplative psychotherapy program at Nalanda University, traditional tantra yoga, and hatha yoga certifications. She has had the privilege to study with some of the masters of our time—His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, Ven. Robina Courtin, Ven. Sarah Thresher, Ven. Karin Valham, and Khadro-la—and has the deepest honor of calling them her teachers. Moun mentors clients privately, teaches retreats internationally, and leads both in-person and online workshops, including her Practice Club group programs, in which connection, compassion, and play create space for healing through authentic self-expression.
Dedicated to helping people forgive themselves and one another, feel at home in their bodies, and reclaim agency in their own lives, Moun weaves classic wisdom teachings with modern, trauma-informed somatic techniques. In spring 2022, she returned from a 3-month retreat in Nepal, filled with inspiration and applicable new wisdom to share.
