Linda Tucker, author of Saving the White Lions and Mystery of the White Lions, has dedicated her life to the protection of the critically endangered white lions, venerated as the “King of Kings” by African elders. After being rescued by a Tsonga medicine woman from a life-threatening encounter with a pride of lions in 1991, she gave up a career in international marketing to establish the Global White Lion Protection Trust in 2002. Her efforts have secured vast protected wilderness in the heart of the white lions' ecosystem, uniting Indigenous knowledge with modern science in a leadership model of harmonious coexistence.
Educated at Cambridge University, then initiated by Indigenous African lion shamans who identified her as the ancestral “Keeper of the White Lions,” Linda founded the Linda Tucker Foundation in 2016, which continues to support a LionHearted Leadership™ strategy in ecosystems and human systems for healthy living and a healthy planet.
