Erika Lim is a daughter, sister, friend, Ako, Ninang, Ate, Madrinha, Tía, traveler, meditator, and end-of-life doula. She loves her mornings slow and any opportunity to jump in the ocean or be among giant trees is a good day.

A child of Chinese immigrants who were born and raised in the Philippines, Erika was born in America, thereby inheriting three cultures with their own inherent histories and traditions. With this lived experience, she enjoys bridging the multigenerational gap between loved ones regarding matters of living and dying while honoring the values and teachings instilled in us by our elders.

Erika completed her master’s of occupational therapy from the University of Southern California in 2018. In 2020, she became a certified death midwife with Sacred Crossings Institute for Conscious Dying and, in 2024, completed the End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA) training. She has been completing the Ablon/Hilot Filipino Healing Arts program at the Kailukuan School of Indigenous Science, and is also part of the second cohort for the PAUSE Starlight Business Development Residency for end-of-life entrepreneurs.
