Elliott Landy is a photographer known for his iconic sixties music photographs—Bob Dylan (Nashville Skyline), The Band (Music From Big Pink, and The Band), Van Morrison (Moondance), Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison. He was one of the main photographers of the Woodstock festival.

After this first period, he left the American culture and commercial photography behind, deciding to be with his family and photograph the beauty he experienced with them. They left the US with $22 and lived in Europe for seven years, traveling, sometimes in an old 40-passenger bus, sometimes hitchhiking, earning money from publishing these photos in European magazines, and sometimes making candles.

Elliott’s later bodies of work include impressionistic flowers (combining elements of impressionist painting with photography), kaleidoscopic cityscapes, and photo verité imagery of mother and child. For the past 20 years he has taken photographs of his wife, beginning when they were both 56. From these they created a book Love At Sixty, which lovingly captures the wonder of love at any age. Elliott’s photographs have been exhibited in museums, galleries, and publications worldwide. He has published 11 books and created an interactive musical video app.
