Christopher Jordan is an artist, educator, and personal coach, guiding others through discoveries of creative expression. He brings 20 years of experience as a photography educator, having led the photography program at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa until 2022. Christopher is a trained yoga instructor and maintains a meditation practice aligned with the teachings of Sri M. While his photography engages many styles, a common denominator is a sense of place and how photography can be used for reflection, memory, and contemplation.
Christopher’s photographs have appeared in Diffusion: Unconventional Photography, Lenscratch, and numerous exhibitions in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. His recent book on contemplative photography, Nowhere in Place, features images from the United States and India, at the intersection of his photographic and meditative practices.
