Between 2021 and 2024, 1,432 artists from 95 countries participated in a global call to artistic action targeting climate change. Their challenge: create and submit digital artwork within just 48 hours, depicting a hopeful future amidst climate challenges or emphasizing the urgent need for change.
The initiative, led by TED Countdown and Fine Acts, aimed to build a climate-specific creative commons—a collection of open-license visuals inspiring climate action. The 50 digitally created posters on display in this exhibit were chosen as finalists for the collection.
This unique, open-source artwork collection remains a valuable resource for nonprofits, activists, and grassroots organizations, serving to raise awareness about climate change and drive meaningful action.
