Sharon A. Bray, EdD, is a writer, educator, and author of two books on writing and health, When Words Heal: Writing Through Cancer and A Healing Journey: Writing Together Through Breast Cancer. She also coedited the anthology, Learning to Live Again, published by the Stanford University School of Medicine.
A frequent speaker at health-care conferences, Sharon A. Bray leads expressive writing workshops for cancer survivors at the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto; Scripps-Green and Moores UCSD Cancer Centers in San Diego; and the Writers’ Workshop at Stanford Medical School series for physicians, medical students, and staff. She also teaches creative nonfiction for the UCLA extension Writers’ Program.
