David Temple, guitarist and composer, has performed throughout the country as a soloist, accompanist and ensemble player. His mission is to present concert programs full of color and variety, appealing to the newcomer as well as the long-time listener.
He has recorded four albums, highlighting five centuries of music, including his original compositions and arrangements. His original music has been used internationally in films, television, and other media. Noah Fleisher of the Taconic Weekend, in his review of the CD "Night Dances: Music of Spain and Latin America,” stated, "David is one of those rare musicians of any genre that is able to play directly what is coming from his head, without barrier between mind, finger and fretboard."
David teaches at Bard Conservatory Preparatory Division and at his home-studio in Red Hook, NY. He is the Artistic Director for the Mid-Hudson Classical Guitar Society. davidtemple.com
