Shaunta Grimes is a novelist and a teacher. She’s had books published by Penguin and Macmillan. She has an MFA in creative writing from Sierra Nevada College. In 2015, Shaunta started an online writing school called Ninja Writers that has more than 50,000 followers across its platforms. Her motto is a quote from Ray Bradbury that guides her whole life: “Just write every day of your life. Read intensely. Then see what happens.”
