Omni Kitts Ferrara is a registered nurse, director of education for the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) and an INELDA-certified doula. She has spent the majority of her life educating about the body, working to dampen misinformation and disconnection, and encouraging animacy and connection. She works as a somatic facilitator on many levels: movement, birth, living, relationships, and death. She facilitates, processes, and holds space for others as they move through the work of living and dying.
Omni weaves paradox back into the binary by just being herself and hopes to create spaces where others feel safe to embrace the fullness of who they are. She is an expert at explaining the mechanisms of pain, as she views pain as an invitation to be received.
As a registered nurse, Omni has specialties in labor and delivery, home health, and pediatric hospice. She is honored to be part of INELDA, works to provide holistic and equitable care, and empowers students into the work of death as an auspicious task of being with others.
