Michael Gayner, PhD, is president and CEO of the Global Compassion Coalition. He served as the executive director of Drala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, from 2012 to 2023, and has been practicing meditation since the mid-1980s. He has a doctorate degree in education with a focus on holistic education and the intersection of teaching and meditation.
