In this excerpt from an Omega Unscripted teacher talk with Winona LaDuke and Osprey Orielle Lake, Vandana Shiva describes how we need to embrace our diversity on every level if we're looking to liberate all citizens of earth. We tend to confront the patriarchy on a household level, but Shiva says that the new patriarchy exists in the corporate world and is woven into our capitalist society. By addressing the patriarchy in all of its layers, we can work towards the liberation of all humans—men and women—and be better citizens of the earth.
