Solwazi Johnson is a trainer with the Mind Fitness Training Institute, and also works as a public health educator and consultant. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of public health communicable disease control with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
As a public health educator and consultant, Solwazi provides technical assistance, training, program evaluation, and one-on-one capacity building services to a variety of community-based, governmental, and private providers of STD/HIV prevention services. Working in cooperation with the CDC, Solwazi provides training (regionally and nationally) to public health physicians, nurses, epidemiologists, and disease intervention specialists on prevention and intervention strategies related to STD, HIV, and emerging diseases.
