Gifford Keen is coauthor, with his father Sam Keen, of Prodigal Father Wayward Son. When people ask him the dreaded "What do you do" question, he likes to tell them he is a proctologist or that he sells timeshares. In reality, he is a retired software geek, reluctant landlord, and aspiring artist. He's been a CEO and a real estate investor as well as an apple picker, carpenter, and plumber.
He is currently at work on his seventh novel (though the first six have yet to be published). He's happiest backpacking in the high country of the Rocky Mountains, spending time with his family, writing, meditating, and practicing yoga.
