Through the cultivation of mindfulness we learn to connect deeply with ourselves, each other, the world of our senses, and our planet. In doing so, we can discover and inhabit that aspect of our being which is already whole and complete, full of love, and transcends notions of self and other.
There is an epidemic of loneliness and disconnection in our country, exacerbated by digital modalities through which we live much of our lives. We continually train ourselves in restless and superficial modes of attention and connection. How can we directly remedy this situation in our own personal lives?
In this 90-minute online workshop, we use an experiential approach to explore these topics directly and personally in our own lives and direct experience. Through short teachings, guided meditations, mindful self-inquiry, and lessons from early Buddhism and other meditative traditions, we explore our own deepest nature and touch the wellspring of connection which is always here and now.
