Forrest Yoga Formula for Change provides clear and effective tools for embracing healthy and effective shifts in your life—such as working through the end of a relationship or contemplating a new job.

Created by Ana Forrest, Forrest Yoga uses deep breathing and vigorous sequencing to connect feelings to the body, engage the core, and build strength. It’s designed to help you build a deeper connection to gut instinct, to reset rather than run away, and to open the heart with courage and grace.

Guided by experienced Forrest Yoga instructors, you experience the four-step transformational process of Formula for Change through a blend of asana practice and pranayama exercises, Native American ceremony, chanting, meditation, and journal writing. You learn to:

  • Notice when you are repeating unwanted behavior
  • Pause and stop negative behavior
  • Give yourself positive reinforcement for catching the behavior
  • Move forward with different actions

Forrest Yoga Formula for Change helps you discover what needs to change in your life and how to bring that change to fruition.

Dining Hall Hours (Dinner is included on arrival day):
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m.–8:45 a.m.
Lunch: Noon–2:00 p.m.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m.–7:15 p.m.

Daily Open Classes in meditation, yoga, tai chi, or movement (subject to availability):
7:00–8:00 a.m., 12:15–1:00 p.m., 5:30–6:15 p.m., 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Kirsten Adelia Collins

Kirsten Adelia Collins, MBA, RYT, has the unique gift of guiding yoga students deeply through their practice while considering the emotional and physical challenges that each student brings to the mat.

Denise Hopkins

Denise Hopkins has been teaching Forrest Yoga for over a decade. Drawing on her strong intuition and passion for hands-on healing, she has a knack for reading the energy of students and responding to what they need. 

Erica Mather

Erica Mather, a Forrest Yoga Guardian, is known as a teacher’s teacher. She aims to teach level-appropriate lessons that provoke thought, feeling, and growth.

Leslie Pearlman

Leslie Pearlman, a Forrest Yoga Guardian-in-Training, is widely known for her radiant energy as well as her compassion, support, humor, warmth, and ability to see where students are blocked and help them move forward and heal.
