Pickleball, considered a combination of badminton, tennis, and ping-pong, is the fastest growing sport in the US. Pickleball is easy to learn, fun, and supports physical fitness and community connection.
In this fun-filled workshop with pickleball teacher Francis Comesanas, you hit the courts to learn rules, scoring, different types of shots, and basic strategy.
Over the weekend, you will learn:
- Rules & scoring
- Types of shots, including serves, returns, dinks, volleys, and lobs
- Useful drills
- Basic strategy
This workshop is appropriate for those new to the game as well as those who have started playing and are looking to hone their skills.
Note: In the event of rain, the workshop session will move indoors and will focus more on demonstrations and rotating practice play.
