browndevin

Browndevin is a singer-songwriter, sound facilitator, and healing practitioner. He uses the medium of sound to curate and direct energy and hold space for healing.

Originally from a college town in Virginia, his earliest memory is harmonizing with siblings at home and their family church. He began writing poetry at the age of 12 and composing a bit later. He moved to New Orleans at 18 where a myriad of musical and cultural influences shaped his vocal prowess and parlayed a family gift into a professional career.

Browndevin ventured to Atlanta, Los Angeles, Toronto, and New York to sharpen his focus and discover deeper ways to tell stories and hold space. He began touring with several pop artists and partnered with The Harmony Project, an NPO that serves the inner city youth of Los Angeles through the appropriation of music education.

He has recorded for and shared the stage with artists such as Pharrell Williams, Eric Benet, Guy Sebastian, Kanye West, Kirk Franklin, and The Roots, and performed on CNN, The TODAY show, Live with Regis and Kelly, Wendy Williams, Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, and SNL. He has toured nationally and internationally with The Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, Jordin Sparks, and Justin Bieber.
