Ed Dailey, RN, RYT, RNPA, a nurse for more than 16 years, has worked in several clinical settings, including psychiatry, post-surgical, oncology, HIV medicine, and the operating room. He is a graduate of the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy (UZIT) Program, offered by the Urban Zen Foundation, and spent 18 months implementing yoga therapy at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
Dailey is one of fewer than 100 nurses in the nation who has received extensive training as the RN Patient Advocates™ (RNPA) program. He has also spent more than a decade studying yoga with acclaimed teacher Rodney Yee. Recently, Daily implemented a pilot program utilizing the UZIT modalities at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut.
Ed Dailey has also studied under Ramanad Patel, a longtime student of BKS Iyengar. As an RN and an RNPA, Dailey continues to work in the operating rooms in hospitals in both Manhattan and Connecticut, and his yoga teaching takes him across the country.
