Job Title: Bakery Cook
Department's Hours: 7 days a week, 5am-10pm
Work Hours: full-time, 40 hours, which includes a weekly department meeting

Overview of Department Functions/ Responsibilities:
The Omega Foodworks is a large full-scale production facility, producing 2500 vegetarian and vegan meals a day as well as breads and deserts for the Dining Hall and the Café.

Job Description/ Daily Tasks:
The Bakery Cook is responsible for the creation and execution of all baked goods. In support of the Bakery Coordinator, the Bakery Cook will produce all specialty breads, pastries and breakfast baked goods needed for the Dining Hall as well as specialty baked items for the Café. The Bakery Cook will be expected to support other kitchen stations as needed.

Candidates for this position need to have professional baking experience and knowledge of vegetarian cuisine, as well as the physical strength to perform the work.
