The Nature of Mind

Discovering Authentic Being Through Meditation

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.
Lama Palden Drolma will not be teaching this workshop. It will be taught solely by Lama Willa Miller.

The Buddhist teachings on the nature of mind and reality in the tradition of Milarepa and the Karmapas help lead us to realize pure being—dharmata, suchness, true nature, our most authentic self.

Guided by Lama Willa Miller and Lama Palden Drolma, two of the few American women trained and authorized as full Tibetan lamas (Buddhist teachers and yoga masters), we investigate these teachings through inquiry exercises, meditation, discussion, Tibetan yoga, and approaches to meditation from the female lineages of Tibetan practice. Through our practice, we release the ego’s blocks, which keep us from realizing who and what we actually are. In this Buddhist retreat, beginning students learn techniques they can bring home and advanced students learn new practices.

Lama Willa Miller, MA, is an authorized Tibetan lama. She has been teaching Buddhist practice and meditation for 12 years and is the founder of Natural Dharma Fellowship, a dharma organization in the Boston area. She conducts Buddhist retreats, workshops, and public seminars nationally and is author of Everyday Dharma. lamapalmo.googlepages.com
