Breema®

The Art of Being Present

This workshop has been cancelled.

Breema® bodywork and Self-Breema® exercise are more than a bodywork system. They create harmony between our mind, feelings, and body, and cultivate balance in all our relationships. By working with the mind-body connection, Breema teaches both the giver and the receiver how to live fully in the present.

This weekend, we explore the Nine Principles of Harmony at the heart of Breema with Jon Schreiber as our guide. We learn a series of bodywork sequences that relax and energize the whole body; practice Self-Breema movement sequences; and experience the effect of the Nine Principles, including working with our own body’s comfort, expressing our true nature, practicing nonjudgment, balancing firmness and gentleness, giving mutual support, fully participating, being in the natural rhythm of life, and focusing on a single activity each moment.

As we practice Breema, we find more flexibility, ease, comfort, and vitality in our life, and experience a new sense of aliveness.

Experienced bodyworkers as well as those new to bodywork are welcome.

Breema bodywork is received fully clothed. Participants must be comfortable sitting and working on a padded floor.

Jon Schreiber, DC, is director of the Breema Center and the Breema Clinic in Oakland, California. The author of several books, including Breema and the Nine Principles of Harmony, he is also a licensed chiropractor. He has taught Breema nationally and internationally since 1980. breema.com
