A Revolutionary Approach to Effortless, Injury-Free Running

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

Run faster and easier by tapping into the power of chi.

There are countless approaches to mind-body work that can strengthen and relax your body, but few offer the cardio-aerobic conditioning that running does. ChiRunning® brings the inner focus and movement principles of tai chi to the sport of running, creating a mindful, energy-efficient movement that energizes your body instead of wearing it down.

Danny Dreyer guides runners of all levels through his ChiRunning technique in a fun and body-friendly way. If you’ve stopped running because of injury, or have been afraid to begin running because of the fear of injury, or if you’d like to turn your running into a mindful practice, this workshop is for you.

You learn all of the latest form focuses for running from your core and how to run on roads, hills, and trails. You also learn how to prevent and recover from most of the common running injuries. Part of the workshop includes videotaping of your running and helpful critiques. Included in the week are four early-morning, coached runs through the beautiful countryside around Omega.

This workshop is for runners of all abilities.
