Omega Thanksgiving

Creating a Delicious & Meaningful Celebration

This workshop has been cancelled.

Host an unforgettable Thanksgiving celebration this year with expert guidance from certified master chef, Thomas W. Griffiths, and Omega’s chief operations officer, Lois Guarino, who show you everything you need to know to create a delicious feast while putting more intention and gratitude back into the holiday.

Thanksgiving is as much about gathering together family and friends as it is about food, and Griffiths and Guarino show you how to combine them all to create a festive meal featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

During the weekend you learn:

  • How to plan your menu
  • Shopping tips
  • How to cook a turkey to perfection and create a non-meat main entrée for vegetarians
  • How to cook traditional side dishes, plus some creative alternatives
  • How to set your table and set the scene
  • New ways to use leftovers
  • How to create meaningful traditions to pass on to future generations

The workshop culminates in a banquet Thanksgiving dinner that you share with others in the workshop. Cooks and hosts at any level of experience are invited.

Thomas W. Griffiths is also teaching Culinary Beginnings; July 16-18. Lois Guarino is also teaching Writing Your Authentic Self: Journals of All Kinds; August 27-29, 2010.
