Introduction to Energy Psychology

Tapping Into Your Potential

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

Energy psychology brings a new dimension of self-empowerment to personal development. Drawing from contemporary psychological understanding as well as ancient spiritual practices and healing traditions, it provides simple methods for shifting the brain’s chemistry.

Guided by David Feinstein, one of the field’s most prominent leaders, you receive a hands-on introduction to energy psychology, learning the basic principles and enough technique to immediately begin using energy psychology in your daily life. You learn how to:

  • Address the emotions that hold you back, including unwarranted fears, anger, anxiety, jealousy, shame, and depression
  • Work with energy points on the skin to send signals that shift the electrical and chemical activity in your brain
  • Rapidly uncouple undesired responses from their triggers
  • Receive support and inspiration for moving forward according to your highest wisdom

This workshop is appropriate for anyone who wants to jump-start desired changes in life, as well as health-care professionals who can apply this technique in their practices.

This is an educational program and is not a substitute for psychotherapy. If you are currently in psychotherapy, however, please obtain explicit agreement from your therapist about participating in this class as it may bring up issues being addressed in your therapy. David Feinstein is also teaching (with Donna Eden) Energy Medicine; April 16-18, 2010.

David Feinstein, PhD, a clinical psychologist, has served on the faculties of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Antioch College. He has contributed seminal journal articles on innovative psychotherapeutic approaches and is author of The Promise of Energy Psychology, Rituals for Living and Dying, and Personal Mythology. His books have won eight national awards, including the U.S. Book News 2007 Book of the Year in the Psychology/Mental Health Category. innersource.net
