Health-care providers dedicate their lives to serving others, yet often stumble in taking care of themselves. Healing the Healer can help solve this dilemma.
Through discussion, movement, artwork, breathwork, journaling, and meditative techniques, we gain an understanding of the unique stresses that health-care workers and their families face, and discover how to diminish their harmful effects.
Guided by Board-certified internist Lee Lipsenthal, author of Finding Balance in a Medical Life, at the conclusion of this orkshop participants will be better able to:
- Describe the relationship of stress and health
- Utilize new tools to modify our stress responses
- Demonstrate a deeper understanding of transpersonal healing states
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate more effectively and love more deeply
- Evaluate the aspects of our personalities that help and hinder our progress, personal growth, and patient care
- Adapt action planning tools to create positive changes in our life
This workshop is designed for health-care workers of all backgrounds and trainings to help cultivate a greater sense of life balance; spouses and significant others are also encouraged to attend.
CE and CME are available and included in the tuition. $20 materials fee; include when you register.
