Make Your Mind Your Friend

Answering Life's Biggest Questions

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

With high energy, great compassion, and a laugh-out-loud sense of humor, spiritual teacher and terminal illness survivor Vaishali teaches us how to make our mind our friend and grow beyond any limitation life dishes up. Her main message: When you change your perspective, you change your world.

Emotional toxicity can turn our mind into our worst enemy instead of the friend it should be. Using a rare form of Taoist abdominal massage, we first learn how to recognize when and where we are retaining emotional toxicity, and how to release it.

Then, with our mind more free, we draw upon principles from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine (which Vaishali says saved her life) as well as the work of Emanuel Swedenborg, an 18th-century scientist and mystic, to allow our spiritual identity to navigate our life’s biggest questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What is the meaning and purpose of my life?

Guest teacher Mellen-Thomas Benedict, who had a near death experience (NDE) while suffering from brain cancer—and who is now one of the most studied NDE cases in the world—helps us continue shaping our answers to life’s biggest questions by sharing with us his direct access to universal intelligence and by being a bridge between science and spirit.
