To be aware of one’s own feelings, needs, and values, and to have the courage to act on them, is the essence of conscious femininity. In this women’s intensive, we have the opportunity to embody conscious femininity. We explore our own symbols and symptoms to discover our authentic self, listen to our own dreams in our own body, and speak with a free and open voice. Dreams, movement, voice, masks, creative expression, myths, and ritual, all form the core of this exploration. The safety of the temenos (sacred space) that we create allows for the healing of our old wounds and the emergence of new energies. This workshop is for health professionals and laypeople alike. Based on the BodySoul Rhythms® work of Marion Woodman, Ann Skinner, and Mary Hamilton, this intensive includes morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Participants are required to stay on campus. Prerequisite: A minimum of 50 hours of analysis or therapy.Linda Kawer, LCSW, and Sherry Wheaton, MD, weave together their disciplines, varied training, and experience as they explore and embody the meaning of conscious femininity in our inner and outer worlds. Using their shared knowledge of symbol and dream interpretation as well as their experience with emotional and physical process, they bring their combined wisdom and skills to this retreat. Both have completed the BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership Training Program through the Marion Woodman Foundation. This retreat is a Marion Woodman Affiliated Workshop. mwoodmanfoundation.org |
