This yoga nidra training is designed for all those interested in both personal and professional transformation and growth.
In these times, chronic stress has reached epidemic proportions. It is more prevalent than cancer or heart disease. It causes suppressed immune dysfunction and it is the underlying root of anxiety, depression, and Attention Deficit Disorder.
Yoga nidra holds the master key to reverse this attack on your body, mind, and spirit. It has the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body and being is permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness. It unlocks the mystical, integrative powers of the subconscious and your higher centers of consciousness to effortlessly erase your most tenacious, self-destructive habits and behavior patterns held unconsciously in your physical, mental, and emotional bodies.
Yoga nidra accomplishes this through the powerful, ancient technique of focusing on what is known as the third eye, the area just between and above the eyebrows. This activates the pineal gland, causing it to secret more melatonin, a hormone that is known to induce restful sleep; reduce blood pressure; increase immune function; and prevent premature aging. This training teaches you to:
Understand yoga nidra as a meditative practice
Set your own intention for life and help others do the same
Deliver three different yoga nidra experiences
Lead yoga nidra programs of various length, including multi-session classes, workshops, and one-on-one sessions
Communicate the benefits of yoga nidra to people of varying needs and walks of life
Explore marketing opportunities
This training is for yoga practitioners and spiritual seekers of all traditions who feel their personal practice has plateaued or who wish to use yoga nidra to deepen and expand their practice. It also has the power to rebuild your health, love life, family life, and professional life, and to actualize your intentions, visions, and prayers. Professional applications include:
Yoga teachers and yoga studio owners who want to reach out to people who want the therapeutic benefits of yoga but who do not want to do, or cannot do, a traditional yoga practice
Massage therapists and bodyworkers who want to enhance their own and their clients’ experience
Healing professionals and therapists who want to offer additional therapeutic practices to their clients
