Healing the Emotional/Spiritual Body®

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

The body is our instrument—the house we live in—and we need to listen to its song when we deal with emotional and spiritual issues. Having an appropriate sense of humor is a tremendous help when we are in a healing process. Humor interrupts our trance of suffering and challenges the trio of fear, worry, and guilt.

Ilana Rubenfeld has spent four decades helping people observe and listen to their body’s song—with a sense of humor. She is the creator of the Rubenfeld Synergy Method®, a powerful, elegant, holistic system integrating psychotherapy, intuition, and bodywork.

During this experiential workshop for mental health professionals and laypeople alike, Ilana conducts demonstrations, guides us through her seven step change process, teaches hands-on practices, leads body-mind exercises, and uses music and humor, all in an environment of safety and trust as we honor the smiling Buddha who does the best exercise—laughing.

At the end of the course, participants will better:
  • Use humor to interrupt the suffering trance.
  • Heighten awareness with a body/mind exercise.
  • Demonstrate how tensions are "truth signals."
  • Identify and hear your body's message.
This workshop fulfills one of the requirements for acceptance into the Rubenfeld Synergy Training Pro-gram. Rubenfeldsynergy.com
