Join this 5-day immersion in Chinese painting and watercolor with a master of the art form.
Lian Zhen begins this workshop by introducing Chinese painting styles. Then, we learn how to use Chinese brushes, ink, and colors, and get an overview of Asian art theory. After two days, we move on to watercolors. We learn the fundamentals of composition and coloring, and then Zhen’s unique techniques.
Throughout the week, there is plenty of opportunity for us to practice and experiment with our painting process.
$45 materials fee; include when you register.
