To be most effective in service and social action, we need to infuse our deepest spirit and motivation into our work. The “natural ease” teaching of Tibet (dzogchen) helps us revitalize our spiritual lives into action.
In this workshop, we learn to use the powerful meditations of loving communion and presence adapted from the natural ease teaching to help our mind relax into its innate state of tranquility, openness, and simplicity—evoking energy, joy, and compassion for self and others.
From this place we can be more fully present with others instead of reacting to superficial judgments. When this unity of love and wisdom is embodied in social action, it becomes a powerful force to challenge injustice and remake our world into a place of mutual reverence and care.
We also learn how to bring the practice of natural ease home to our relationships, service, and social justice activism. New and experienced meditators alike are welcome.
